I didn't think I was the sort to wear bibs but dang these are comfy! - Even when the rear pocket has my multitool, levers pump and a snack within. Great new product, may need to get another set.
I am absolutely loving the Stowaways (and Dogma shirt) - I took them out for my first dirt ride in a month at the weekend and they were flawless. There is something about the cool flap of plaid which makes one feel fast, and the handy pouch on your back means you don't have to risk the long walk home for steeze. Carrying the exo pad over to bib liners was masterful, and while I'd never had particular discomfort with underdogs, wearing the Stowaways makes for heavenly comfort for my butt. What is even better is passing roadies in this kit, and the few I managed to scalp at the weekend could barely contain their scorn behind their Oakleys.
Mt biking has been my passion since the mid 80s and I like to have the best gear to enjoy it. The Stowaways are simply the most comfortable bibs out there and at a reasonable price too. They are my go to gear for an epic day out on the trail or multi day riding. I prefer to ride without a back pack and the cargo pouch holds the basics and more. While I mostly ride with the Stowaways under my mtb shorts they are great at keeping me cool on their own during hot summer days, or on those adventures in places like Colorado when the temps hit 35C plus. I combine the Stowaways with my B52 riding top; the perfect set up!
Its always a good sign when you get to the end of an all day ride and you didn't once think about the nicks you were wearing. That's the Groundeffect Stowaways for me !
